Here’s a list of the biggest fish in the world. These huge fish sculptures/structures are popular roadside attractions. Most of them are located in the United States of America, Australia and New Zealand.

The Biggest Muskellunge

The world’s largest Muskellunge fish is the famous 143 feet long Muskellunge in Hayward, Wisconsin in the United States. This huge fish is 4 1/2 in height and dominates the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame. This fiberglass structure is even more remarkable for having an observation deck in the mouth where one can overlook the town. Hayward, a city in Sawyer County is a popular fishing destination because of the numerous lakes in the area.

The Giant Murray Cod is gigantic fish sculpture located in Swan Hill, Victoria in Australia. This colorful and beautiful fish structure is 3 meter tall and 9 meters in length. Swan Hill, which is located on the Murray Valley Highway, has a population of more or less 10,000.

Another Murray Cod fish sculpture located in Australia is The Big Murray Cod” in Tocumwal. This fish sculpture is 2 meters high and 7 meters long. Tocumwal is a town located in the southern region of Riverina of New South Wales.

There are three known huge sculptures of trout in the world. All of them are known as “The Big Trout”.

The Big Trout is a sculpture of Brown Trout located at the northern entrance to Gore, a town in the Southland region of the South Land of New Zealand. This freshwater fish, which is abundant in the region, is known scientifically as Salmo trutta morpha fario.

The Big Trout is another Trout sculpture that can be found in Oberon, a town in the central tablelands of New South Wales, Australia. The model species used on this fish sculpture is a colorful one.

The 3rd “Big Trout” on the list is a 10 meter tall and 3 meter wide fish sculpture located in Adaminaby, New South Wales in Australia. Adaminaby is a famous fishing spot for Trout. This fiberglass structure which was built over a steel frame was completed in 1973.

The Big Barramundi is a 6 meter tall and 2 meter in width fish sculpture than can be found in Australia. It is one of the many “big things” that can be found in the continent. It is located in Normanton, a small cattle town in Queensland.
